BRIDAL SHOWER: Woodland Women will host a Bridal Shower for Emily Faircloth and John Sweitzer today at 2:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. They are registered at Belk's and Target.
AWANA LEADERS: Will meet immediately after the Bible Study on Wednesday evening to finalize several issues discussed at the last meeting. All AWANA workers are requested to attend.
NORTH CAROLINA MISSIONS OFFERING: During the month of October we will be collecting contributions for the North Carolina Missions. This offering is the primary support for the North Carolina Baptist Men (and women). If you wish to contribute, use your regular envelope and designate the offering for NC Missions.
YOUTH ACTIVITIES
BIBLE STUDY– Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM.
UPCOMING EVENTS
BIBLE STUDY: Will continue through the summer for both adults and youth. Nursery available. Wednesday night suppers will resume on September 15th.
AWANA - Will begin at Woodland on September 12 at 5:00 p.m. for all children through 6th grade. Invite your friends and neighbors to join us for this time of fun and learning for our youngsters.
KEENAGERS: Will meet Thursday, September 9 at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Darryl & Debbie Pond Mission Trip to India Presentation.
COMMITTEE BREAKFAST - Committees for the 2010/2011 church year will meet for breakfast on September 19 at 8:00 AM to elect chairpersons and make plans for future meetings.
Mark your calendars now for the Woodland Fall Festival on September 25. Tickets are available for pre-sale now (see Marilyn Basinger to get your tickets to sell and for yourself). Our all-time highest ticket seller (Yvonne Keith) already has 50 tickets to sell. Sign-up sheets for volunteers for the Festival are available at the rear of the Fellowship Hall. Be ready to get involved with this FUN FUNdraising event! See insert for donation details.
