GA’s are still collecting gently used shoes as their yearly mission project. The shoes being collected now will go to Haiti.

ONGOING FUNDRAISING EFFORTS
NEW FUNDRAISER (starting 10/09): Thed O’Neal will be selling Brunswick Stew for $10 a quart with proceeds benefiting the Woodland Building Fund. Stew will be prepared and delivered when 60 orders are received. Sign up for your stew at the rear of the Fellowship Hall.
“THE TREE OF LIFE” CD: Susan Lacy has her CD’s available on the back table in the fellowship hall. Donations should be made payable to Woodland Baptist Church and will go to the Building Fund. This is a great gift for shut-ins.
INTRODUCING HONEY WHEAT BREAD: You’ve asked for it and now we have it. New Honey Wheat Bread - $6.00. We still have the Cinnamon Bread - $6.00 and the White Bread - $5.00. All three are made from a sourdough starter. Pre-order your loaves of bread by calling/emailing Robin Whitt 556-4694 rwhitt2@nc.rr.com or Patsy Macon 556-3277 horacemacon@embarqmail.com. All pre-orders can be delivered on Wednesday or Sunday. Extra loaves available for sale are placed on the table at the back of the Fellowship Hall. Just place your money in the envelope.
EGGS ‘N CHICKENS: It doesn’t matter which came first, you can get both eggs and chickens by contacting Jan Campbell. Proceeds all go to the building fund. $3,146.08 was raised during the holidays from turkey sales.
